Customer Reviews

"The staff were friendly. We we're the only customers there due to the blizzard conditions tonight. The onion rings were amazing! The SOB burger was good. The bacon cheeseburger was overcooked and dry. Mixed drink was great! I would come back to try some of the other menu items."

"All our food was really good! They were busy and service was a little slow, but we didn't mind at all because we were visiting with each other. The food was really good! All of us enjoyed our burgers and French fries. Though one person didn't like the onion rings. They were overcooked and hardly any onion in them. I saw a table near us get sweet potato fries and they looked really good. I'm trying those next time. They have Pepsi on tap and cans of Coke and Mt.Dew."

"Wow. So impressed with burger I had here as well as the atmosphere & nostalgia that this place provided for me. All the locals stared at us when we walked in, so we knew it was the vest eatery in town. Smells like a cabin inside, and I mean that in the best way possible because it reminded me of eating a meal at up north bars in rural towns as a kid. The music was unapologetically 80s/90s and once again, I mean that in the best way possible. I got the SOB Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life, and their house made horseradish pickles were an exceptional cherry on top so to speak. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous and service was impeccable. I'll be back again."

"Great daily specials at a low price. The server stop by often to fill beverages and ask if we needed anything. Quality food and creative special that taste great. We will return even though it is almost a 45 minute drive one way."

- Scott L.

"Stopped for a quick lunch and was surprised with quick service, great food and an amazing atmosphere. Menu options were excellent and the decision was difficult, I went with a mushroom and swiss with fries. Excellent choice. Perfect cook on the burger and the fries. Rumor has it that the bloody Marys are the best around but that will have to be for a different non working day. I will be back and I hope each visit gets better"

"I had higher expectations going into this place for the food, being that it's the "Son of a Butcher," but I was pretty disappointed. The burgers were definitely not my favorite. It almost didn't seem like beef. The atmosphere was my favorite! It had a lot of character which a lot of restaurants don't have anymore. The service was the worst I have had in a long time, and it wasn't busy. Not on the top of my list of places to return to."

"We stopped a couple on the street asking for recommendations on a place to eat. They made a great choice. We loved it and will be back again."
